The creators of Otago Gold have already invested over $300,000.00 NZD into acquiring premium prospecting gold permits for the use of our token holders as well as pre-funded acquisition and development costs for the larger scale projects. The prospecting permits are located in the Shotover River in Queenstown and the Arrow River in Arrowtown. Both are world renowned as some of the richest gold producing rivers in the world. They are easily accessible by anyone and offer easy to mine gold by pan, sluice, high-banker, or metal detector. 

Larger scale projects include the Nevis Project which is owned by the Otago Gold project creators. We are well advanced in receiving the required environmental and mining approvals needed to commence mining operations. The Nevis Project has estimated gold reserves of $NZ 5.2 million dollars, with an expected cost of $NZ 2.1 million to extract that gold.

There are three other projects that we hold and this gives Otago Gold a runway of 10 to 12 years of high yield niche projects.
