Otago Gold Projects

Lower Nevis Project

Lower Nevis with its estimated 4000 Oz of gold reserves has now been proven higher with bulk sampling, and will move into full production in mid-2026. It is projected to produce 5 Oz of gold per day.

The cost of mining is low due to the area being an old river bed with an average depth of 4 metres. The gravels are easily mined with an excavator and fed through a wash plant.

Our bulk sampling carried out in May 2025 indicated that the gold grades were much higher than our first expectation, and as a result this project will be fast tracked into production.

Pomahaka Project

Featuring an active riverbed and an old paleo channel with an estimated reserve of 8,000+ Oz, this project is scheduled to be bulk sampled and tested in late 2025.

Subject to the bulk sampling work, mining is expected to commence in late-2026. Based on work done to date we reasonably expect this area to deliver 5 Oz per day. Full scale mining will ramp up through 2026 to 2027.

This is a very large resource deposit with an estimated life of 10-12 years.

Upper Nevis Project

The Upper Nevis is several kilometres up stream of the Lower Nevis permit, with expected gold deposits to be higher than originally planned based on the results from the recent work done on the Lower Nevis.

The Upper Nevis is a larger project with a projected deposit of 10,000 to 12,000 Oz of gold. This may be revised upwards once the bulk sampling work is done. Bulk sampling is planned for mid-2026 to determine the highest yielding areas.

Once this area goes in full production in late 2026 we expect to see the permit produce 10 Oz per day. Cost of mining is low, as it is an old river bed, similar to the Lower Nevis, with shallow deposits easily worked with an excavator and wash plants..
